"Paradise Family"
With the blessing of the Primate of the diocese, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, in February 2023, another program of the Artsakh Diocese called "Paradise Family" was launched.
The program is attended by married couples who got married in 2022, who will be under the spiritual care of the diocese for several months. A number of specialists are working with young families, who, thanks to their skills, provide appropriate support to the beneficiaries of the program in order to solve the problems that have arisen in the family or avoid further problems. A clergyman, a psychologist, an obstetrician-gynecologist and an economist work with the newlyweds, who provide them with appropriate informational, medical, social, psychological and spiritual support.
The main goal of this program initiated by the diocese is to help newlyweds easily overcome the difficulties of a new stage in their lives and, as a result, form a family that is spiritually healthy and strengthened by Christian values.
During the program, those families that have creative resources, but do not have the opportunity to implement them, will be under the care of the Church. The church will be ready to support a few creative but financially disadvantaged families. The program will also give a clear result in terms of psychological counseling and related support. Couples will be under the direct supervision of two program psychologists even after the completion of the project.
