Wish for the army and Artsakh
This year, the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian Army had a spiritual focus and spread around the church.
On January 27, with the participation of chaplains and soldiers of the Defense Army, the clergy of the Artsakh diocese, headed by the diocesan leader, served memorial services in the memorials of the regional centers and the capital of Stepanakert. On January 28, the republican wish was conveyed for the stability of our country and army, at all existing churches.
Prayer for the Republic
The leader of the diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan led the ceremonies at the Stepanakert memorial and in the cathedral.
In his speech, His Holiness noted that this day is holy for us, because the army became the foundation on which our independent statehood was built. Today our country and army are wounded, but if we unite, turn to God, we will be able to win new victories.
† May God bless the Armenian army. †
