Pentecost
Fifty days after the miraculous resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates Pentecost.
On May 23, the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese His Serene Highness Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan celebrated the Liturgy of Pentecost at Amaras Monastery.
The pilgrims attended the pilgrimage from different places who came to renew their vows in the historic monastery.
In his sermon on the sacrament of the day, the spiritual head spoke about the sacrament of Pentecost and its significance in the life of the church and believers.
He especially stressed that today the Armenian people need to accept in their hearts the grace of the Holy Spirit, which will dispel our doubts, fears, worries, and sorrows.
At the end of the liturgy, the Holy Father conveyed his blessing to the believers present, the clergy of the Artsakh diocese, chaplains serving in various military units of the Defense Army of the Artsakh Republic.
