It was talked about the culture of Frtsakh in Salzburg

On May 11, at the University of Salzburg, the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, took part in the cultural event “Culture in Conflict: Armenian Cultural Heritage in Artsakh”.

During the event, issues related to the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Artsakh were discussed. The Primate of the Artsakh Diocese delivered a speech in which he spoke about the numerous monasteries, churches and monuments that remained under the control of Azerbaijan as a result of the last Artsakh war, expressing concern about their fate.

The event was attended by the director of the department for the preservation of the spiritual and cultural heritage of Artsakh, acting in the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin, His Grace Archimandrite Garegin Hambardzumyan, as well as Archbishop Franz Lakner of Salzburg, His Grace Bishop Tiran Petrosyan, Patriarchal Delegate to Central Europe and Sweden, and His Grace Archbishop Hovnan Terterian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the USA.
