The most long-awaited holiday in the Artsakh Diocese

Today, on January 6, the Christmas liturgy was served in the functioning churches of the Artsakh Diocese and the consecration of water was performed.

A festive Holy Liturgy was served by the Primate of the Diocese in the church of the Holy Mother of God in Stepanakert. The church was crowded. The Liturgy was attended by statesmen of the Republic of Artsakh, military personnel and hundreds of our brothers and sisters. During the ceremony, Bishop Vrtanes delivered congratulations on the occasion of the greatest Christian holiday.

At the end of the Liturgy, the rite of consecration of water was performed, and consecrated water was distributed to the believers. Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Artsakh Aram Sargsyan became a godfather of the church this year.
