Meeting of representatives of different religions in Stepanakert
On March 15, a meeting of representatives of different religions who now live in Artsakh was held in Stepanakert. Representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Russian Orthodox Church serving in the Russian peacekeeping forces, and Islamic clergy were present at this meeting initiated by the head of the Russian community of the Republic of Artsakh Alexander Bordov. During the meeting, a number of issues related to spiritual life were discussed. All those present expressed deep concern regarding the current situation in Artsakh, especially emphasizing the humanitarian and socio-economic crisis caused by the blockade of Artsakh.
It should be emphasized that with the efforts and initiative of the head of the Russian community of the Republic of Artsakh Alexander Bordov and Artsakh Diocese, such meetings are frequent and continuous.
