The process of restoring St. Hakobavank began with a clean-up event

Under the leadership of the abbot of the monastery of St. Hakobavank Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, a clean-up event was organized on the territory of the monastery: the area around the monastery was landscaped, the ground was leveled, excavations were also carried out with the help of an appropriate specialist.

Mr. Ruben Vardanyan, co-author of the initiative, also took part in this process with a group of volunteers. More than 100 volunteers from different regions of Artsakh joined the work - former and current officials, military personnel, and all those who lovingly united around the holy mission.

Residents of Kolatak, young and old, also joined the clean-up event. Even the 83-year-old grandfather Aharon came with his hand tool and began to improve the territory of the monastery.
