Opening ceremony of the basement hall of the Church of the Holy Mother of God

With the blessing of the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, after extensive landscaping work, on April 12, the opening ceremony of the basement hall of the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Stepanakert, which will serve as a place for spiritual and cultural gatherings, took place. The spiritual and cultural evening entitled "Motherhood and Resurrection" was held thanks to the joint efforts of the Artsakh Diocese and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Artsakh. An exhibition was organized, which presented about 40 works by 15 artists of the Artsakh Union of Artists. The ceremony was decorated with a wonderful spiritual concert, which began with the national anthem of the Republic of Artsakh performed by the Artsakh State Academic Choir. During the event, a number of spiritual songs were sung, which took on a more soulful tone within the church.

The ceremony was attended by the second and third presidents of the republic Arkadi Ghukasyan and Bako Sahakyan, the State Minister of Artsakh Gurgen Nersisyan, a number of Artsakh officials, many figures representing various spheres, and believers.
