Baptism in the church of St. Martyrs Aghavno

On October 3 of this year, at the initiative of the devoted son of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the head of the Aghavno community Andranik Chaushyan, by the hand of the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, with the participation of the reverend priests and pious deacons of the Artsakh Diocese, in the church of St. Martyrs of the Aghavno community of the Kashatagh region a baptism ceremony was held.

60 community members, old and young, men and women, were called to become heirs of Christ and children of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The head of the community Andranik Chaushyan and several other people were appointed godfathers. After the ceremony, all those present were invited to an event organized by the head of the community at the local school.

Baptism is a resurrection from one life to another, from a life of sin to a spiritual life. Holy Baptism in particular, and Christianity in general, give us the strength to live and create. Those baptized with this spirit and consciousness became the receivers of the Heavenly Father, heirs of Christ and the Holy Spirit.
