New appointments of priests in the Artsakh diocese
At the beginning of this year, under the leadership of the Catholicos of All Armenians, two newly ordained priests were appointed to religious service in Artsakh.
On January 24 of this year, they were appointed to pastoral service, by order of the leader of the Artsakh diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan. Respectively, reverend Father Sepuh Hakobyan was appointed as the abbot of the Amaras monastery and as the pastor of the surrounding villages, and reverend Father Hovhan Hovhannisyan was appointed as the pastor of the Artsakh town of Martuni and the surrounding villages.
We are hopeful that our newly ordained clergy, with God's help, will take good care of their flock, instilling faith in Christ in their hearts.
