Memorial service for the deceased

The day following the feast of the Holy Resurrection is considered the day of commemoration of the dead. Today, a memorial Holy Liturgy was served in the churches of the diocese.

In the Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God in Stepanakert, a memorial Holy Liturgy was served under the chairmanship of the Primate of the diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan. The Holy Liturgy was served by the Reverend Father Vachagan Gyurjyan. The clergy of the diocese participated in the liturgy. The believers of the church gathered together to pray for the repose of the souls of all our departed, under the chairmanship of the clergy.

At the end of the Liturgy, under the chairmanship of the Primate of the diocese, those present visited the memorial complex of Stepanakert, where a memorial service was performed.
