Interview with armenian radio company operating in France

On the occasion of the visit to France, the Primate of the Artsakh diocese, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan and Father Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, accompanied by the newly appointed Primate of the Armenian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in France, archimandrite Grigor Khachatryan, were visiting the «Ayb» Armenian Radio in France.

Answering the interviewer Marieta Garapetyan's question about the purpose of the visit, Bishop Vrtanes noted that they visited France at the invitation of the Primate of the Armenian diocese in France and the Union of Christians of the East SOS, pursuing the implementation of some programs.

Bishop Vrtanes congratulated the newly appointed Primate of the Armenian diocese in France, wishing him success on his church activities and patriotic path.

To the question of the presenter about the current state of the wounded Artsakh, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan replied that today Artsakh is going through difficult days, but Artsakh has experienced very difficult moments before and that the people of Artsakh cannot be intimidated by either humanitarian or physical terror.

According to His Grace, today Artsakh is waiting for a detailed answer from the superpowers regarding the Azerbaijani encroachments.

“Of course, Dadivank is still praying for us. Thanks to our clergy and Russian peacekeepers, today Dadivank is acting, praying, waiting for our steps, because Dadivank is now in the state of an island.”

To the question addressed to Father Grigor Khachatryan, how France, as a friendly country, can be useful for the preservation of the Armenian historical and cultural heritage, His Eminence answered.

“First of all, we, Armenians, must organize, treat our cultural heritage as the highest value, and the others will do the same.”

Archimandrite Grigor Khachatryan also noted that the next day in France, under the chairmanship of Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, Father Hovhannes Hovhannisyan will serve the Holy Liturgy.

During the interview, topics were discussed about the Artsakh war, its consequences, the situation in Artsakh, as well as the current Azerbaijani provocations and ways to prevent them.

At the end of the interview, the guests expressed sincere words to the Armenian community of France.
