The Issue of Preserving Artsakh's Historical and Cultural Heritage

Thousands of historical and cultural monuments in Artsakh remain under threat from Azerbaijani vandalism. Today, the preservation of Artsakh’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage is one of the most pressing issues.

During the "In Reality" program on Artsakh Television, Mr. Lernik Hovhannisyan, Chairman of the Diocesan Council of Artsakh and ethnographer, discussed the fate of approximately 5,000 pieces of tangible cultural heritage in Artsakh and the ethnocide being carried out by Azerbaijan with Narek Sahakyan.

The ethnographer emphasized the need for consistent efforts at the state level, while also focusing on the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
