Pilgrimage to Amaras Monastery Complex

Dear compatriots!

On July 2, the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church celebrates feast of the discovery of the relics of St. Gregory the Illuminator. On the same day, the Holy Liturgy will be served in the Amaras monastery complex.

The first church of the Amaras monastery complex was founded by Gregory the Illuminator in the 4th century, and the grandson of St. Gregory the Illuminator - St. Grigoris is buried under the altar.

Our dear believing compatriots, participating in the Liturgy, let us ask Christ to forgive our sins, have mercy on our people, give us the spirit of repentance and lead us. Let's raise our prayers to the Lord, asking for the strengthening of faith and repentance for our people - for the sake of faith and homeland.
