Yerits Mankants Monastery
Yerits Mankants Monastery, located in the Martakert region of the Republic of Artsakh, was founded in the 17th century. It belonged to the Melik-Israelyan princely family of Jraberd, one of the five melikdoms of historical Artsakh.
In 2023, along with the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, the monastery was forcibly seized by Azerbaijan. The Holy Yerits Mankants Monastery falls under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Artsakh of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
