The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin decided to preserve the Artsakh Diocese
The meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council was chaired by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
At the four-day meeting, post-war challenges facing the state and the problems of forced displaced persons from Artsakh, issues related to the preservation of the spiritual and cultural heritage of Artsakh, and the spiritual, educational, and social mission of the Church were discussed.
On the first day of the meeting, the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, and the former Minister of State of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan made a report.
