Bri Yeghtsi Monastery
Bri Yeghtsi Monastery is located in the Martuni region of the Republic of Artsakh.
In terms of spatial extent, it is the largest monastery in Artsakh. It was built in the 13th century. The monastic complex is especially renowned for its khachkars (cross-stones) embedded into its walls.
In 2023, along with the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, the monastery was seized by Azerbaijan.
