36th Anniversary of the Artsakh Movement
36 years ago, Artsakh rose up to defend its right to self-determination. At the heart of the relentless struggle of an entire people was the recognition of the value of unity, and each individual deeply understood the importance of their personal contribution.
Unfortunately, the peaceful days, secured by victory, were once again disrupted years later by war, blockade, and depopulation. The people of Artsakh proved once again that the homeland is above all else. During the blockade, despite enduring numerous hardships, they did not surrender and remained firmly attached to their land. This, in itself, was a unique manifestation of resistance.
Today, despite the painful circumstances, we can say that the “Unity” has been achieved. Our brothers and sisters from Artsakh and Armenia have now merged as one in the Motherland. It is crucial to use this circumstance wisely and effectively, drawing inspiration from the example of our ancestors. It can become a decisive prerequisite for national renaissance.
Dear ones, on this significant day, our prayer and wish is that the Lord grants wisdom and awakening to all our minds, so that every Armenian, alongside addressing their personal concerns, also prioritizes national issues, recognizing the noble idea behind them.
