Nikita Shangin’s Research: The Evidence of Artsakh’s Armenian Heritage

In Moscow, public and political figure Yuri Navoyan has published Nikita Shangin’s historical-architectural research titled "Who Built the Architectural Gems of Nagorno-Karabakh and on Whose Land?" The study was released as part of the DIALOGUE book series.

Nikita Shangin is an Honored Architect of the Russian Federation, a professor, a member of the Moscow branch of the International Academy of Architecture, a laureate of the Union of Architects of Russia and Russia’s National Architectural Awards, as well as a prizewinner of the "What? Where? When?" intellectual television game. He also served as the chief architect for the reconstruction of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

In this work, the author presents the Armenian historical architectural monuments of Nagorno-Karabakh, while also addressing Azerbaijan’s attempts to falsify historical facts and appropriate Armenia’s rich cultural heritage.
