Ordination to the priesthood in the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Stepanakert

Dear believing brothers and sisters

We are glad to inform you that on November 13, with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the ceremony of ordination to the priesthood will be held in the Church of the Holy Mother of God of Stepanakert for the first time, which will be performed by the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan. Deacon Gor Gyurjyan, chaplain of the DA, director of the Center for Christian Education and Propaganda of the Artsakh Diocese, will be awarded the priesthood.

This long-awaited and sacred ceremony will take place on November 13, during the Sunday Holy Liturgy, and the rite of consecration will take place at the end of the evening service on November 12.
