Today, on December 25, in the Church of the Holy Mother of God of Yerevan of the spiritual leadership of the RA Armed Forces, the Reverend Father Vachagan Gyurjyan, who was ordained on November 13 in the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Stepanakert, served his first Liturgy, on the occasion of which the Artsakh Diocese congratulates the Reverend Father and our faithful people.<\/p>\n

During the sermon, the father spoke about his spiritual path, expressing gratitude to the people who supported him in choosing the right path - his church ministry.<\/p>\n

\u201cTruly, the calling of the priesthood is great and wonderful, but it is fruitless if not based on humility, therefore I am sincerely glad that today the Gospel of my first Liturgy coincided with part of the lesson of humility given by Christ - the parable of the Pharisee and the publican, because it must always remind them not to lose humility and meekness in serving God,\u201d the newly anointed Father Vachagan Gyurjyan noted in his sermon.<\/p>\n
