{"id":2147,"date":"2021-11-25T21:23:57","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T17:23:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/?p=2147"},"modified":"2021-11-25T21:47:22","modified_gmt":"2021-11-25T17:47:22","slug":"artsakhi-haykakan-mshakutayin-zharrangutyunn-germanatsinery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/en\/news\/artsakhi-haykakan-mshakutayin-zharrangutyunn-germanatsinery","title":{"rendered":"The Armenian Cultural Heritage of Artsakh and the Germans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/tamcke_armenien-2021.pdf\" class=\"img_pdf\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2150\" src=\"https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/photo_2021-11-25_19-22-58-212x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"212\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/photo_2021-11-25_19-22-58-212x300.jpg 212w, https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/photo_2021-11-25_19-22-58-8x12.jpg 8w, https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/photo_2021-11-25_19-22-58.jpg 611w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 212px) 100vw, 212px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">On June 9, 2021, an inter-Christian online conference was held on the topic \"The Armenian Cultural Heritage of Artsakh and the Germans.\"<\/p>\n<p>The conference was organized by Professor Martin Tanken at the University of G\u00f6ttingen, Professor at the University of Keele Andreas M\u00fcller, lecturer at the Bensheim Interchurch Institute Dagmar Heller, and Lecturer at the American University of Armenia Harutyun Harutyunyan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The very close historical connection of German scientists, especially theologians and archaeologists, with Armenia is due to the richness and beauty of the Armenian culture. <br> <a href=\"https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/tamcke_armenien-2021.pdf\" class=\"img_pdf\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><img src=\"https:\/\/artsakhdiocese.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/photo_2021-11-25_19-23-05-219x300.jpg\"><\/a><br> Today this cultural heritage is not fully known in Germany, and in the South Caucasus region it has often been and continues to be endangered today. \nThe heavy losses suffered by the Armenian people in the 44-day war in Artsakh in 2020 prompted German theologians to launch a program aimed at drawing the attention of the international community to the cultural heritage of the region.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, the Armenian-German cooperation was touched upon, as well as unique samples of medieval Armenian manuscripts were considered.
