Among the attendees were descendants of Gardman, members of the National Assemblies of Artsakh and Armenia, historians, economists, political scientists, and individuals interested in the topic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Before the official opening of the conference, the national anthems of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh were performed. The event was chaired by Lernik Hovhannisyan\u2014former Minister of Culture of Artsakh, research fellow at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of NAS RA, and Chair of the Diocesan Council of the AAC Diocese of Artsakh\u2014who welcomed participants and declared the conference open. His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh, also offered welcoming remarks and began the event with the Lord\u2019s Prayer.
