Office for the Spiritual<\/span> and Cultural Heritage of Artsakh<\/h1>\n

\"Holy-Etchmiadzin-Artsakh-Heritage\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In November 2020, by the directive of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Office for the Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of Artsakh was established at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The office actively works to raise international awareness about Artsakh\u2019s spiritual and cultural heritage and collaborates with both international and Armenian cultural preservation organizations to safeguard endangered sacred sites.<\/p>\n

From November 2020 to November 2023, the office was led by Rev. Fr. Garegin Hambardzumyan.<\/p>\n

Since November 2023, the office has been headed by His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh.<\/p>\n
